Ambassador of Belarus E.Sobolevski meets the Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt

On September 3, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Evgueni Sobolevski, met with the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt for European Affairs, Wael Hamed.

The interlocutors discussed the further development of bilateral cooperation with an emphasis on trade and economic interaction, the implementation of projects to create joint ventures in the fields of industry, food security and agriculture.

Concrete steps to intensify interaction between relevant departments and a schedule of bilateral events for the near future, including contacts at the highest and high levels, were agreed upon.

On the same day, the Ambassador met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt - Director of the Department of International Cooperation for Development, Hamdi Shaaban.

The issues of cooperation between Belarus and Egypt in bilateral and multilateral formats were discussed. The coincidence of the positions of the two countries on a number of issues on the international and regional agenda was noted.
