Town of Richmond - Sherman Solar Farm

Negative Declaration

Ontario County - The Town of Richmond Zoning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sherman Solar Farm will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves Sherman Solar, a new solar development, consisting of a solar array which will be owned by SUNN1019, LLC and will produce 4.0 MW AC. The project is located in the Town of Richmond, Ontario County on tax parcel 135-2-57.100. An existing solar array is located directly east of the proposed project. The site access will be via a proposed porous gravel access drive off County Road 37. Electrical connection will be made to the existing National Gril overhead lines on the east side of County Road 37. The solar panels have been sited to satisfy the Town of Richmond Solar Law to the greatest extent possible. A property line setback variance will be required. The overall property is +/- 32.1 acres. The solar array will occupy +/- 16.0 acres upon completion. The project is located at 4735 County Road 37 in the Town of Richmond, New York.
