Bridge maintenance work will be on I-85 at the Northbound
SB & NB @ CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVER
Harris County -Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors will be performing maintenance bridge work on I-85 at the AL/ GA line north and southbound at the Chattahoochee River.

LOCATION: I-85 SB & NB @ CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVER

TIME: 9 pm - 5 am week nights and weekend nights from 9 pm - 10 am

DATE: Begins January 12, 2026, until early 2027

WHAT: Possible lane closures

Advisory: Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through the area. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the free Georgia 511 app.
