Town of Pleasant Valley - Short-Term Rental Law

Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town Board of the Town of Pleasant Valley, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Short-Term Rental Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the establishment of a system of licensure and regulation for short-term rentals, and after considering multiple approaches to such regulation, the Town Board has determined that it is appropriate to allow and regulate hosted short-term rentals throughout the community through a permitting process, while transient rentals without an owner present will be considered lodging facilities and regulated as such. The project is located throughout the Town of Pleasant Valley, New York.
