"Your expedition, launched in 2014, unites a close-knit team of energetic and dedicated people who feel a personal responsibility for preserving the memory of our Motherland's military history, the heroic deeds of the capital's defenders and all those who participated in the Battle of Moscow on the Western and other fronts. For many years, you have carried out search missions in the Kaluga Region at the sites of fierce battles of the Great Patriotic War, restoring military graves, caring for veterans and returning heroic pages of family histories to the descendants of soldiers and officers.

I would like to emphasise that your noble and vital work plays a meaningful role in historical education, preserving the continuity of generations, and bringing up young people on lofty spiritual and moral ideals, unshakeable values of patriotism and civic duty."
