Fallen CPD Officers Honored at Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025 members of the CPD Command Staff and Honor Guard represented the department as part of the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial's Thirty-Sixth Memorial Ceremony. The Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial is located on the grounds of the Massachusetts State House and pays tribute to the members of law enforcement who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Each year, a memorial and remembrance ceremony is held in honor of these fallen officers. It was attended by Governor Healey, State Treasurer Goldberg along with law enforcement and community leaders from across the commonwealth. During the ceremony, time is taken to specifically recognize the newly listed officers that are added to the memorial. Thanks to the hard work of one of our officers, five previously unlisted line-of-duty deaths from the Cambridge Police Department were uncovered. These officers will now receive the proper recognition for their service and sacrifice.
