Amended CJA Plan in Effect
Effective October 9, 2025, the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Council has approved amendments to the Criminal Justice Act ("CJA") Plan for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The revisions provide for interim compensation and a mentoring program and impose reappointment requirements for CJA panel attorneys. The revised plan, which is Appendix D to the Court's Local Rules, is available here. A redlined copy showing the revisions from the May 17, 2021, version of the Plan is available here.
