Road Closure: Phase 3 – Stadium Drive Road Closure to begin May 4, 2026
Alabama Power will begin powerline work along Stadium Drive between 22nd Avenue and Summertree Apartments. The road will be closed Monday May 4th and is expected to last until Wednesday May 6th or until the project is finished. A detour will be in effect routing traffic around the work. Dates and times are subject to change due to weather. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly. Tractor trailers should continue along U.S. 80 for alternative routes. Thank you for your cooperation. You may contact the Phenix City Engineering Department at 334-448-2760 with any questions.
