Man Arrested for April 4 Stabbing Murder of His Girlfriend

Detectives tonight booked Darius Summers, 33, on a charge of criminal homicide for the April 4th stabbing death of his girlfriend, Ashley Davis, 37, inside the apartment they shared on Cedar Pointe Parkway in Antioch.

TITANS Unit detectives located Summers this afternoon at his mother's residence. He was carrying a cross-body bag that contained a stolen pistol. Summers is a convicted burglar and is prohibited from possessing guns. In addition to the murder of Davis, Summers is charged with unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon and gun theft. He is jailed in lieu of $1,005,500 bond.
