Torrance Memorial Medical Center Named Best Hospital by US News & World Report

Torrance Memorial Medical Center earns top state and national rankings in the 2025-2026 U.S. News & World Report best hospital rankings

TORRANCE, Calif., July 28, 2025 - Torrance Memorial Medical Center has been recognized as the Best Hospital 2025-26 for 14th year by U.S. News & World Report, placing the hospital in the top 3% in California.

Torrance Memorial has impressively improved their rankings and is now ranked 8^th in overall hospital quality in California and 3^rd in the Los Angeles/Orange County region. The hospital rated "high performing" in seven specialties and achieved national ranking in Orthopedics (#35), OB/GYN (#42) and Geriatrics (#50). Additionally, it ranked "high performing" in 18 common adult procedures and conditions.

U.S. News evaluated more than 4,400 hospitals across 15 adult specialties and 22 procedures and conditions. Only 13% of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals designation.
