Concord Celebrates More Than 1,800 Years of Service

The City of Concord honored 158 employees for their combined 1,885 years of service to the City of Concord at the annual Service Awards ceremony. The annual celebration is a time for City leaders to recognize the dedication of employees who have served the City for at least five years. Service awards are given out in five-year increments, and this year 16 employees reached their 25-year milestone and three celebrated 30-years of service.

At the ceremony, Mayor Bill Dusch and City Manager Lloyd Payne thanked employees for their hard work and dedication to the community. The employees exemplify the City's mission to enhance residents' quality of life through excellent service and upholding the organization's core values of accountability, communication, and teamwork.
