CISM Team Completes Annual Training to Support Members in Need

Jan 23, 2025

The Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team recently completed its annual training in San Antonio, Texas, including onboarding two new members. This essential training ensures the team remains proficient in acute stress mitigation techniques, ready to assist NATCA members during difficult times.

"Having a fully-trained and proficient team is key for us to help our brothers and sisters in need," said CISM Chair Sarah Grampp. "We want to ensure we are providing the best service possible to those who have experienced something traumatic."

The CISM team provides confidential, peer-to-peer support to members dealing with stress from events such as aircraft incidents, grief, natural disasters, or personal struggles. This training reinforces NATCA's commitment to the well-being of its members.

If you or someone you know needs support, contact the CISM team at 202-505-CISM or email [email protected]. Learn more here.
