Canadian Forces Military Police anonymous Drug Tip line

Controlled substances and illicit drugs cause a great deal of harm to the Defence community, with consequences reaching beyond the individuals directly involved. That's why awareness, prevention, and community involvement matter.

Many people don't know that the Canadian Forces Military Police (CF MP) have an anonymous drug tip line that anyone can use. The drug tip line allows any person to anonymously report information on drug-related activity within the Canadian Armed Forces and National Defence community to the Military Police. It can be used without fear of being identified, and participation is voluntary.

Reporting is about preventing harm and keeping our Defence community safe. A call to this line can make a difference.

With each call, include as much information as possible, such as the location, date and time, type of drugs, quantity of drugs, vehicles, number of individuals involved, and their physical description(s) if known.

When anonymous tips are received, Military Police can better understand what is happening, identify patterns, and take action to prevent harm and deter and stop criminal activity. Even small pieces of information can support ongoing efforts to reduce the presence of drugs in our communities.

We believe everyone has a role to play in ensuring a safer community. We can support one another by using the confidential drug tip line; it's a meaningful way to contribute to community safety. When we work together, we help keep each other safe.
