Governor Spanberger Issues Executive Orders 17 and 18

RICHMOND, VA - Yesterday, Governor Spanberger issued Executive Orders 17 and 18. Executive Order 17 details the development and review of state agency regulations. Executive Order 18 designates the executive branch officers and employees required to file financial disclosure statements. Governors of Virginia are required to lay out procedures for executive review of state agency regulations and financial disclosure statement requirements by June 30 of their first year in office. These executive orders will remain in effect until June 30, 2030, unless amended or rescinded by further executive order.
