(Towson, MD ) -- U.S. Congressman Johnny Olszewski is inviting all high school students in Maryland's Second Congressional District to participate in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. This year's theme is "Maryland Strong."
The Congressional Art Competition is an annual, nationwide event sponsored by the members of the U.S. House of Representatives to recognize and encourage the developing artistic talent in the nation, as well as in our Congressional District. The winner, selected from a panel of local judges, will be displayed in the Cannon House Office Building tunnel at the U.S. Capitol for one year, along with the winners from around the country.
"I am looking forward to seeing the talent and passion that the students of Maryland's Second District will put into their submissions," Olszewski said. "And I'm looking forward to seeing our winning entry in the literal halls of democracy, providing inspiration to the more than 12,000 Capitol visitors each year as well as Members of Congress as they make their way to the House floor."
