Napa County - Caltrans has scheduled a full closure of State Route 29 (SR-29) beginning on February 25 through February 28 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next mornings for culvert replacement work and road stabilization in between Rutherford and Oakville roads (south of Glos Lane).
During this stage of construction, crews will begin to remove the existing culvert and replace it with a cast in place box culvert.
Flaggers will be present and Changeable Message Signs (CMS) signs will be posted to help the traveling public.
Caltrans currently has reverse one-way traffic control of State Route 29 (SR-29) in effect between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next mornings for culvert replacement work. Crews are working a six night work schedule, Monday through Saturday.
It will remain a six night work schedule, Monday through Saturday, through March.
This emergency project is expected to be completed in Spring, 2026.
All work is weather dependent. Future traffic advisories will be sent out if dates or times change.
