Graffiti Suspect Arrested

GREENSBORO, NC (May 6, 2026) - A 37-year-old High Point man was arrested today and charged in connection with vandalizing downtown Greensboro property with graffiti.

Christopher Michael Pujol faces four counts of vandalism - graffiti (NCGS 14-127.1) and is being held in the Guilford County Jail.

At the request of GPD investigators, High Point Police arrested Pujol at his residence in High Point. Pujol was issued no bond due to previous charges.

On April 24, at 10:35 a.m., Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers shared a post on Facebook offering a reward for any information that would aid in the identification of suspects involved with the graffiti/tagging incidents in downtown Greensboro. Approximately two hours later, an anonymous tip was sent to Crime Stoppers identifying social media profiles and photos associated with a suspect.

Investigators from Greensboro Police Department's District 1 followed up on the tip and discovered video footage of the suspect vandalizing buildings in the 300 block of Elm Street, spraying the same tags/graffiti associated with the social media profiles sent to Crime Stoppers.

During the investigation, the suspect was tied to four total cases dating back to January of 2026.

"We want to thank our community for sharing information with us that led to this arrest," GPD Capt. Marcus McPhatter said today. "This is an excellent example of how an anonymous tip can lead investigators in the right direction in a case like this."
