When It Feels Real, Is It Still a Lie? ‘The Art of Sarah’ Premieres February 13

Netflix is set to unveil its first Korean mystery thriller series of 2026, The Art of Sarah . The series follows Sarah Kim, a woman determined to embody luxury - even if it means living a lie - and Mu-gyeong, a sharp detective who relentlessly tracks her desires. Directed by Kim Jin-min ( Extracurricular , My Name ) and written by emerging talent Chu Song-yeon, the series also spotlights the charged on-screen chemistry between Shin Hae-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk.

The newly released main poster and trailer heighten the show's mysterious and tension-filled atmosphere. The character posters hint at the worlds of Sarah Kim (Shin Hae-sun) and Park Mu-gyeong (Lee Jun-hyuk): Sarah's is layered with obscured ID cards, a handbag, and business cards - fragmented traces that conceal her true identity and deepen the intrigue around who she really is. Mu-gyeong's poster contrasts with a piercing gaze, interrogation-marked chalkboards, and handcuffs, foreshadowing his dogged pursuit.

The main trailer opens with Sarah Kim's cryptic narration, followed by a striking image of her in tears amid a pile of trash. Although she introduces herself as "Sarah Kim," no one who claims to have met her can clearly explain who she is. As Mu-gyeong digs deeper into her past, he is confronted with the unsettling possibility that Sarah Kim may not exist at all - pushing the mystery surrounding her identity to even darker depths.

Who stands before you? The Art of Sarah premieres February 13, only on Netflix.
