Honigman recently represented ZF Friedrichshafen AG, a global technology company that supplies systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial technology, and its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) business unit, in connection with a strategic licensing arrangement with Harbinger following Harbinger's acquisition of Phantom AI, an autonomous driving company specializing in computer vision-based ADAS technologies.
Under the agreement, ZF will license Phantom AI's computer vision technology for integration into its passenger car ADAS products.
A Honigman deal team led by Partners Matthew VanWasshnova, Thomas J. Appledorn, and Andrew J. Boes with support from Partner Chauncey C. Mayfield II advised ZF on the transaction.
