SIUE's Anderson Named OVC Pitcher of the Week

SIUE right-hander McKayla Anderson has been selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week.
Anderson threw 5 1/3 scoreless innings in SIUE's 6-4 win Saturday at Tennessee Tech. Her pitching picked up the Cougars after falling behind in the second inning.
The sophomore from Algonquin, Illinois, has thrown seven innings this season and has not allowed a run.
SIUE's next action is tomorrow when it begins the 2026 home schedule with a 5 p.m. contest against Minnesota at Cougar Field.
