TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Lane Restrictions on Rt 141 for Tree Work Next Weekend
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists there will be lane restrictions on Rt 141 and on Old Barley Mill Road for tree work on Saturday, May 10th and Sunday, May 11th.
On Rt 141 the restrictions will be near the Tyler McConnell Bridge from 5:30 am to 10:00 am both days. Due to the location and condition of some of the trees being removed, there is a potential for stopped traffic up to 10 minutes in the Rt 141 work zone.
The work on Old Barley Mill Road (the road to Hagley Museum) will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm both days.
Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area. For more information visit the DelDOT website at www.deldot.gov, download the DelDOT app or tune to 1380 am, WTMC.
