Insider NJ has named FBT Gibbons' Courtney Johnson to its annual list of Powerful Women of New Jersey for 2025, recognizing influential and courageous women across New Jersey. Compiled by Assemblywoman Shavonda Sumter, the list recognizes women leaders from across the state representing politics, business, education, and healthcare.

Johnson advises clients on a wide range of matters, including legislative advocacy, strategic counseling, professional licensing, and commercial litigation. Her practice focuses on legislative and regulatory counseling in Trenton and Washington, D.C., as well as litigation in New York and New Jersey. She represents a diverse client base, ranging from multinational corporations to nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education.

Deeply committed to professional and community engagement, Johnson is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Garden State Bar Association and serves as Co-Chair of its Lobbying & Government Affairs Section. She is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, New York State Bar Association, National Association of Women Lawyers, and National Bar Association. In addition, she serves as President of the Board of Trustees for the Rutgers Law School-Newark Alumni Association.
