New GOTV investment adds to historic DNC investment in Pennsylvania this year
Today, with just two weeks until Election Day, the DNC announced a new organizing investment in the Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaign to get out the vote ahead of critical elections, including to retain Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht. Last week, DNC Chair Martin traveled to Pittsburgh to campaign for these justices and call out billionaires like Jeff Yass for trying to buy the court.
In Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court has and will continue to issue consequential rulings - from abortion funding and access to challenges related to voting and election administration.
As we head into Election Day, Democrats are in pole position after overperforming in special elections this year by 15 points on average. Democrats are leaving nothing to chance to reach every voter we can from now until Election Day.
Today's GOTV investment will turbocharge the Pennsylvania Democratic Party's on-the-ground voter contact efforts in the final stretch, including:
DNC Chair Ken Martin issued the following statement:
"As we enter the final two weeks, the DNC is all hands on deck to make sure Democrats have the resources to contact Pennsylvania voters across the Commonwealth about the stakes of this election. Pennsylvania's Supreme Court retention races are some of the most important 2025 elections ahead of 2028 and will determine the future of abortion access, voting rights, education funding, and so much more for years to come. I heard from voters on the ground in Pennsylvania over and over again that they don't want Donald Trump and his billionaire donors buying their Supreme Court. That's why Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to make sure Pennsylvanians choose their elected leaders and not Donald Trump and his billionaire backers."
