Construction on State Route 159 Palisado Avenue in Windsor

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that construction will commence on the rehabilitation of Bridge No 06574 on State Route 159 (Palisado Avenue)in Windsor. This project is scheduled to commence on Monday, June 23, 2025 and be completed in the Fall of 2025.
CTDOT Project No. 0164-0242 was awarded to Dayton Construction Company, Inc. for $1,484,875.00
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Pleasant Street will be closed at the intersection of Route 159 (Palisado Avenue) starting Monday, June 23, 2025 until Monday, August 18, 2025. Traffic will be detoured by use of Route 75 (Pequannock Avenue) and Route 159 (Palisado Avenue). Traffic control signing patterns, flaggers, and municipal police officers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
