LNC Partners Invests in Kaizen Collision Center

Reston, VA - February 16, 2021. LNC Partners ("LNC") is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Kaizen Collision Center ("Kaizen" or the "Company") by making an investment to support its continued growth strategy. Kaizen currently operates in Arizona and Southern California by providing collision repair services as well as paint, body, and glass repair to both individuals and companies across the Southwest U.S.

"Our partnership with LNC represents a strong step for Kaizen as we expand and continue focusing on providing the best working environment for our employees and exceptional repair experiences for our partners and customers," said Jacob Tilzer, CEO of Kaizen. "After making the decision to raise investment capital, I knew that selecting the right partner would be one of the most critical steps in our Company's history. Harris Williams presented a significant number of firms to select from, and I was honored by the strong response we received from the many firms interested in investing in Kaizen. However, choosing a partner that shared my vision for growth, and not just the traditional growth plan in our industry, was key. LNC's customized investment structure and approach to the Kaizen team clearly differentiated their firm from the many other potential investors we spoke with. Now that we have a strong financial partner behind us, we are excited to continue building the Kaizen platform both organically and through strategic acquisitions." Mr. Tilzer continued, "we have a platform of exceptional employees, marquee locations, and great clients, and have acquired and merged with some of the most well-known operators in our geographical footprint, which has been key to our successful post-close transitions. We intend to continue this plan of joining with other great operators as the industry is highly fragmented and the entry point for technology efficiencies are abundant. The partnership with LNC validates our vision for growth and allows us to properly execute on that plan. From the garage we started in several years ago to the 10 locations we currently operate in to now having a partner that helps us get to the next level, we are extremely excited and honored that LNC is joining with us to execute on our vision. Ultimately, this investment allows Kaizen to better serve our employees, customers, and the communities that we operate in. To start my life in foster care, find my passion through collision repair, merge with some of the industry's best operators and now be at the steering wheel leading my team as one of the top 10 collision industry platforms, I am truly grateful. Our team has believed in us every step of the way, and we are just getting started."

"Jacob's story is truly remarkable and represents what is possible when you combine passion and hard work. From humble beginnings to becoming an industry leader at a young age, we are excited to partner with Jacob and the Kaizen team and help them execute on their vision. They have assembled an exceptional management team, and Jacob's passion for leadership is clearly evident through how he built Kaizen from a single location to the platform it is today. We are excited to be the catalyst behind the company's next phase of growth and look forward to assisting the team in establishing Kaizen as the leading collision repair platform in the country," said Mark Raterman, Managing Partner of LNC.

Richmond, VA based Harris Williams served as Kaizen's exclusive financial advisor.
