A public hearing to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Dorothy Morris, #132973

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Dorothy Morris, #132973. The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams.

Those planning to access the hearing must complete the online registration form no later than November 15, 2024. Instructions for accessing the public hearing can be found here.

Dorothy Morris was sentenced to a term of Life for the crime of Murder 1st Degree. Dorothy Morris was sentenced on July 25, 1983, out of Bay County.

Paula Johnson, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.

When logging into the hearing, your video camera must be turned off and audio muted to eliminate distraction during the hearing.
