A Shared Commitment to Rehabilitation and Reentry Success

National Correctional Officers and Employees Week (NCOEW) is observed May 3-9 this year. Established in 1984 by the U.S. government as a time of special recognition for the profession, NCOEW celebrates and honors all corrections professionals-those who devote their lives to public safety and helping justice-involved individuals on their journey to rehabilitation and successful reentry.

Every corrections professional plays an important role in supporting incarcerated individuals. At CoreCivic, this includes frontline services, health care services, reentry services, facility maintenance services and more.

Each year, CoreCivic reflects on the many ways Team CoreCivic-along with other fellow corrections professionals in service nationwide-positively impacts our communities and those entrusted to our care.

Every role in a correctional facility is essential to helping people on their journey to rehabilitation and reentry success.
