Discover eight new works of public art across Iowa City

Eight new sculptures have been installed throughout Iowa City as part of The Sculptors Showcase.

This annual public art program allows Iowa artists to showcase their work around the Iowa City community. The City of Iowa City's Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) selects sculptures from submissions to be displayed for a year.

In 2026, there are eight locations scattered throughout the community at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area, along the Iowa River Trail, in Riverfront Crossings Park, and at Mercer and Scott parks. View the map for specific locations.

These temporary exhibits will be on display through July 2028. Artists will receive a commission of $2,250 for the two-year display.
