TikTok LIVE Spotlights Creators at Community Fest Event in Santa Monica, with Special Performance by Tinashe

On Thursday, August 20, TikTok LIVE brought creators together for the US Regional Community Fest event at the historic Santa Monica Pier to celebrate the power of community and connection. Hosted by @markellwashington1, the event highlighted creators from all backgrounds and interests, spotlighting their journeys on the platform and the global communities they've fostered.

Multi-platinum-certified disruptor singer, writer, and dancer, @tinashe closed out the night with a high-energy DJ set that included some of her biggest hits and new releases from her upcoming album, Popstar, set to release on September 25.

The LIVE community continues to grow, with over a million creators in the United States participating in Community Fest. Now in its third year, emerging and established creators competed to climb the ranks on daily leaderboards and unlocked community growth milestones through each LIVE interaction, culminating in the regional winners being honored on the big stage across six category ranks - Rising, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Legend.

Over the course of the summer, participating creators learned how to grow their LIVE community through a series of educational Creator Academy workshops, completed in-app missions to earn points while LIVE, and showed support for their favorite creators during competitions like Match Mania.
