UToledo Launches Rocket Forward Day of Giving Today
The University of Toledo's largest annual campaign, Rocket Forward Day of Giving, returns for its ninth year, giving the Rocket community an opportunity to support the University as well as UToledo Health. The campaign theme "The Power To Do. Powered By You." fully embraces UToledo's mission of shaping the next generation of doers and recognizes the donors who make it happen.
From 6 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 18, through 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, the Power To Do is in your hands, with 36 important hours to set the University up for success. From alumni to students, faculty, staff, patients and friends, each of us plays a vital role in moving the UToledo experience forward.
​Lemuel Inkoom, a PharmD Candidate, shares the personal impact donor support has made on his UToledo experience: "Receiving scholarships and support has meant everything to me and allowed me to focus on being a student first. It allowed me to pursue jobs for experience rather than to pay and focus on my academics and, at the same time, explore career-building opportunities. It means that they saw potential in me and that just constantly reminds me to see the potential of myself."
