Arab Bank Sponsors Eid Program in Collaboration with Charity Clothing Bank in Aqaba and Zarqa

Arab Bank recently sponsored the Eid Clothing event organised by the Charity Clothing Bank, one of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organizations (JHCO). Through this event, Eid Al-Adha clothing was distributed to 230 children in Aqaba and Zarqa, with the participation of Arab Bank volunteers who helped the children while choosing their clothes in a joyful and festive atmosphere.

This event is part of the ongoing collaboration between Arab Bank and the Charity Clothing Bank, which has continued for over 10 years under the Orphan Day program. The program aims to provide new clothes and toys to 1,200 orphans annually. Since its launch in 2014, it has benefited more than 11,000 orphans across various governorates of the Kingdom.

The Charity Clothing Bank was established in 2013 to collect in-kind donations and provide them to local underprivileged families supported by the National Aid Fund and other NGOs, through different programs held at the Clothing Bank's showrooms in Amman and Al-Karak targeting orphans, elderlies, low-income individuals, and those getting married. Since its establishment, the Charity Clothing Bank has served over 1,661,514 beneficiaries and distributed more than 7,861,435 clothing pieces.

It is worth mentioning that Arab Bank has taken an active role in the community by adopting a comprehensive strategic approach and collaborating with several NGOs to achieve sustainable economic, social, and environmental development. "Together", Arab Bank's corporate social responsibility program is a multi-faceted program that works on improving and developing different aspects of the community. Through a variety of initiatives and activities, the program aims to serve the community in areas related to health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education, orphan support, and women empowerment.
