First Lady Melania Trump to Ring Opening Bell of the New York Stock Exchange

First Lady Melania Trump will ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, following an impactful first year of leadership as First Lady of the United States during the second term of the Trump Administration.

Over the past year, Mrs. Trump has taken action to advance a results-driven agenda that is centered on the well-being of children in the United States and around the world. Some of her achievements include:

  • Championing the TAKE IT DOWN Act, a new law that enhances federal online protections for children from online deepfakes.
  • Leading an Executive Order on Fostering the Future, which unites federal resources with innovative public- and private-sector partnerships to provide more pathways to success for young people who have experienced foster care.
  • Establishing Fostering the Future Together during the United Nations General Assembly, a global coalition of first spouses of nations to help children learn, grow, and thrive through the safe and innovative use of advanced technology.
