On the sidelines of Munich Security Conference, Minister Shahin met with UN Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director for Humanitarian Action and Supply Operations at UNICEF

On the sidelines of Munich Security Conference, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin, met with Ted Chaiban, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director for Humanitarian Action and Supply Operations at UNICEF, in the presence of Ambassador Laith Arafa.

The meeting addressed the critical humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, with a focus on urgent relief needs, particularly for Palestinian children affected by the collective psychological crisis. It also discussed ways to strengthen and develop UNICEF's programmes and activities to enhance psychosocial support for affected Palestinian children and families.
