Statement on September Revenues

CONCORD, NH - Today, Governor Kelly Ayotte released the following statement on State revenues for the month of September:

"New Hampshire's economy remains strong, and these numbers show we're moving in the right direction. We'll keep our state a great place to start and run a small business by protecting the advantage that has led us to become the #1 state for economic opportunity. As we look ahead, we're going to ensure we protect our most vulnerable citizens and build a brighter future for all of New Hampshire."

Led by recording breaking business tax receipts, State General Fund and Education Fund revenues exceeded plan by $69.1 million for the month of September. The $269.8 million in business tax revenues collected in September easily exceeded the previous September record of $226.4 million from 2024.

For the 2027 fiscal year, revenues have exceeded plan by $74.9 million or 12.5%. The State revenues are also $111.7 million higher than at the same point last year.
