One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 49 (SR-49) and 88 in Amador County next week.

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control takes place from Martell Railroad Crossing to Trade Center Drive for tree work on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

State Route 88

  • One-way traffic control takes place from Court Street to Toyon Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, April 28, 2026, through Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control takes place just east of Inspiration Drive for utility work on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
