Another Tax Scheme Failure for New Hampshire Democrats
CONCORD, NH - Yesterday, New Hampshire Democrats tried and failed to bring back over half a billion dollars in tax hikes.
"We're not going to MASS up our great state with higher taxes. Today, tomorrow, and every day, no income tax, no sales tax - ever," said Governor Kelly Ayotte.
The Democrats' plan would have increased the business enterprise tax, business profits tax, and meals and rooms tax, as well as reestablished the interest and dividends income tax.
