Tampa Bay Rays Postseason Parking Guide

Tampa Bay Rays Postseason Parking Guide

October 1, 2026 - Postseason baseball is back in St. Pete! As the Tampa Bay Rays make their playoff run, downtown will be buzzing. Game 1 will be played on Saturday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m., and Game 2 will follow on Monday, October 5 at 8 p.m. Here's everything you need to know to get around, get to the game, and enjoy the excitement.

General Parking and Traffic Tips

Expect heavy traffic. Plan on taking extra time to travel and park for all playoff games.

On-site parking will be 100 percent prepaid, so if you don't buy a parking pass from the Rays in advance, plan on avoiding the roads immediately around the ballpark and drive straight to off-site parking. Many lots and garages will be available within walking distance, including a new 540-space garage recently opened at 1301 Central Ave., directly across from Ferg's Bar & Grill, and don't forget overflow parking downtown with a free baseball shuttle (more info below). Find additional parking options at www.stpete.org/Parking .

Other Transportation Options

Baseball Shuttle

The Baseball Shuttle will be operating for every playoff game. The shuttle service starts two hours before the game and continues until one hour after the game ends, approximately every five minutes.

Buses and trolleys will be providing the shuttle service. Trolleys are equipped with a wheelchair lift. The shuttle is free to ride.

Shuttle Stop Locations

  • 2nd St. S between Central Ave. & 1st Ave. S (under the pedestrian bridge)

  • Motorists may park in the garage by entering from 1st Ave. S between 1st and 2nd Streets

  • 16th St., just south of 3rd Ave. S
