MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - On Thursday, April 23, 2026, Middlesex County joined Coming Home of Middlesex County for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of a newly constructed housing complex at 293 Townsend St. in New Brunswick. The development includes six permanent housing units designed to expand access to safe, stable housing for residents experiencing homelessness.

This project reflects the County's continued commitment to advancing a comprehensive strategy centered on stability, dignity, and long-term success for residents in need. Through the Middlesex County Housing Continuum Care Committee, the County works in partnership with Coming Home of Middlesex County to increase housing stability and support residents on a path toward independence. The County supported this project through its Housing First Fund, an initiative that creates permanent, affordable, and accessible housing across Middlesex County.
