Acting Director-General of the Department of European Affairs meets with Ambassador of Spain to Thailand
On 2 February 2026, Ms. Somrudee Phoopornake, Acting Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, had a discussion with H.E. Mr. Felipe de la Morena Casado, Ambassador of Spain to Thailand.
Both sides exchanged views and followed up on the progress of bilateral cooperation. They also discussed preparations for the 8th Thailand - Spain Political Consultations and the 4th Thailand - Spain Forum, scheduled to take place in Spain, as well as ways to promote cooperation in trade, investment, consular affairs, security, and visa facilitation, with a view to further strengthening Thailand - Spain relations.
