Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) Service Interruption

Friday, October 16, 2026

Due to a service disruption at the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC), the delivery of electronic and paper notices has been interrupted, and the BNC is unable to provide noticing services to the courts at this time. Additionally, the following websites are not available: bnc.uscourts.gov, bankruptcynotices.uscourts.gov, notices.uscourts.gov, and the National Creditor Registration Service website that supports CM/ECF access to address labels. The issue is being investigated, and efforts are being made to restore service. Parties and filers should be aware that notices may be delayed and access to the three-column creditor matrix through CM/ECF is not available.

Until the BNC issues are resolved, for urgent documents that must be served on the entire court matrix or a limited matrix under Local Rule 2002-1(D) or Local Rule 9013-1(D), a motion to be excused or a motion to extend time may be filed.

1. Motion to be excused from the requirement per Local Rule 5005-1(D) to attach the court matrix generated by the CM/ECF system.

  1. The motion must state the reason for the urgency to be excused.
  2. Use the CM/ECF event "Generic Motion"
  3. Following approval of your motion to be excused, file the underlying urgent document, which must demonstrate how service was made and who received notice.

2. Motion to extend time (CM/ECF event "Extend Time") due to the inability to access the court matrix generated by the CM/ECF system for proper noticing.
We will provide further updates as information becomes available. Further questions or concern may be directed to the clerk's office at 402-661-7444.
