Today, I am pleased to share another step forward in that journey as IBM announces the acquisition of Txture GmbH, a company whose software assets help businesses migrate, modernize, and optimize their hybrid cloud estates.

Enhancing cloud transformation capabilities

Txture brings powerful assets that complement IBM Consulting's Application Migration & Modernization (AM&M) and Cloud Technology Strategy offerings. By integrating Txture into our IBM Consulting Advantage platform, we're extending our leadership in hybrid cloud transformation and enabling our clients to realize value more rapidly.

By adding Txture's capabilities to IBM's existing offerings, our consulting teams will be able to:

Founded in 2017, Txture is headquartered in Innsbruck, Austria. Txture is a spin-off of the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Innsbruck, where intensive practice-oriented research in planning and transformation of global IT landscapes has been conducted since 2009. Being close to the University gave Txture access to top talent and research, helping them create software that guides clients through cloud transformation.

It has enabled more than 100 cloud transformation projects worldwide and processed over 50,000 applications through client engagements, helping global system integrators and enterprise clients accelerate transformation and improve quality outcomes.
