[SUPREME] South Bend Community School Corporation v. Connie Grabowski, No. 24S CT 00395

Grabowski sued South Bend Community School Corporation, alleging the corporation constructively discharged her in retaliation for her intent to file a worker's compensation claim. A jury agreed with Grabowski and awarded her $600,000. The Court of Appeals affirmed. South Bend Cmty. Sch. Corp. v. Grabowski, No. 23A-CT-343 (Ind. Ct. App. May 15, 2024) (mem.), vacated. The Indiana Supreme Court has granted the school corporation's petition to transfer and assumed jurisdiction over this case.
