AMP ONE Named to TIME's List of the Best Inventions of 2025

TIME has revealed its annual list of the Best Inventions, which features 300 extraordinary innovations changing our lives. This year's list recognizes AMP ONE™, a full-scale facility solution to sort various material streams and capture more of the $300 billion in material value otherwise leaked to the environment, lost to landfills, or incinerated annually. AMP's technology increases landfill diversion by enabling efficient, cost-effective recovery of recyclable material while reducing carbon emissions. The cost of landfill space and disposal transport are rising, and by increasing diversion, AMP effectively creates more space within current landfill footprints.

To compile this year's list, TIME solicited nominations from TIME editors and correspondents around the world, and through an online application process, paying special attention to growing fields-such as health care and AI. TIME then evaluated each contender on a number of key factors, including originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact.
