Mayor outlines her goals for 2026 and more

During the first City Council meeting of the year, Mayor Wendy Bucknum highlighted her goals and objectives for 2026.

Council Member Bob Ruesch was presented with a gavel plaque and recognized for his service to the City as Mayor in 2025.

The Council also hosted its quarterly recognition of the Marines from the City's adopted Headquarters Battalion of the First Marine Division at Camp Pendleton and presented certificates of commendation to the "Marine of the Quarter" Corporal Teewon G. Manakpalah and "Non-Commissioned Officer of the Quarter" Sergeant Grant G. Gallatin.

The City Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Meetings are streamed live on the City's website and air on Cox Channel 30 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99.
