H.E. San Lwin, Deputy-Secretary General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), participated in the 17^th Conference of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information (17^th AMRI), 22^nd Meeting of the Senior Officials Responsible for Information (22^nd SOMRI) and Related Meetings on 4-9 May 2025 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.

Under the theme "MAJU - Media Advancing Joint Understanding: Transforming Media's Role in Advancing Cooperation and Mutual Understanding in ASEAN, the Meeting reaffirmed AMRI's commitment towards promoting regional solidarity. The Meeting discussed strategic actions for the long-term transformation of ASEAN's cooperation in the media and information sectors, as well as addressing contemporary global challenges and building upon AMRI's achievements.
