City of Lancaster Announces Notice of Funding Availability for Homelessness Prevention and Intervention Programs

Lancaster, CA. May 28, 2026 - The Lancaster Police Department (LPD), in cooperation with Measure H, is pleased to announce the release of a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for local community-based organizations serving people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

This funding opportunity supports programs that prevent or reduce homelessness, strengthen housing stability, and enhance the existing network of services throughout the community. Eligible service providers are encouraged to apply and join the City in advancing coordinated, community-driven solutions that meet the evolving needs of Lancaster residents.

"The City of Lancaster has always believed that the most effective solutions start with strong community partnerships," said Mayor R. Rex Parris. "This funding opportunity will help us bring more organizations to the table, expand meaningful programs, and support the work that is already helping families stabilize and rebuild their lives."

In addition to supporting established programs, the NOFA aims to encourage innovative approaches and broaden the number of service providers engaged in this work. The City welcomes multiple applications from organizations committed to creating or expanding efforts that improve outcomes for individuals and families.
