The university has launched a new Faculty Success Platform, a centralized system designed to streamline the process of documenting and reporting scholarly, teaching and service activities.
Faculty and librarians will use the platform to generate and certify their 2024-25 Annual Faculty Review (AFR), which is due by Oct. 15. Additional information specific to the AFR process will be shared at the start of the fall semester.
To help users get started, a full set of resources is available on the platform's dedicated support site, including:
Weekly office hours for assistance will be held Wednesdays at 3 p.m. through Oct. 22, and Faculty Success Import Team is available to provide targeted support in populating profiles using portions of CVs and bibliographic tools.
Faculty and librarians are encouraged to begin exploring the platform and entering their information at their own pace. Additional training and support opportunities will be offered throughout the semester.
The launch of the Faculty Success Platform marks a significant milestone in a multi-year initiative and collaboration of leadership, stakeholders, faculty advisors, and technical teams from across campus. The executive sponsors of the project are Fouad Abd-El-Khalick, provost and senior vice chancellor for academic affairs; Michael Malone, vice chancellor for research and engagement; Nandita Mani, deputy chancellor for institutional effectiveness; and Christopher Misra, vice chancellor for information technology and CIO.
