Ramp and truck stop closures on I 35 in Clay County, Tomorrow May 1

CLAY COUNTY -The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting ramp closures for pavement repair work on I-35. All work is weather permitting.

See below for traffic modifications:

• Crews will close the US-291 on ramp to I-35 SB, and I-35 SB to the US-69 off ramp on approximately Thursday, April 24 between 7 pm and 8 am.
• Crews will close the northbound direction truck stop between Lightburne St and 19th on approximately Tuesday, April 29 until Thursday, May 1 nightly between 5 pm and 11 am.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
