WJRZ & WRAT Take Home Jersey Awards Honors

NEW JERSEY - Sept. 18, 2026 - Beasley Media Group's New Jersey stations 100.1 WJRZ-FM and 95.9 WRAT-FM are celebrating a trio of honors at the 58th Annual Jersey Awards, recognizing the creativity and talent behind standout radio advertising campaigns and commercials.

Presented by the New Jersey Advertising Club, the Jersey Awards have celebrated creative excellence across the Garden State's advertising, marketing and communications industries for 58 years. The annual competition recognizes innovative and compelling work produced by agencies, production companies, media organizations and other creative professionals throughout New Jersey.

The 2026 competition featured a streamlined field of 84 categories, including dedicated categories for radio/audio campaigns and individual spots. Entries were evaluated by advertising professionals from outside New Jersey, with judging criteria that included originality, creativity, memorability and innovation.

WJRZ and WRAT team members earned recognition for their work on three campaigns:

  • First Place - Best Radio Campaign: Punctual Pros NJ/Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning and Mister Sparky

  • Second Place - Best Radio Commercial: Precision Garage Doors

    Talent: Jackie Farago, Mark Schmidhauser, Jimmy Steal and Mike Scecchitano
  • Award of Excellence - Best Radio Commercial: Leaning Father's Brewing
    Creative Director: Mike Scecchitano
    Talent: Rob Cochran and Scotty B

The honors showcase the collaboration among Beasley's creative, production and on-air teams and their ability to develop memorable advertising that helps local businesses connect with consumers.

The winners were celebrated during the 58th Annual Jersey Awards Exhibition and Ceremony on Sept. 16 at The Grove in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. This year's event highlighted the people, relationships and creative thinking behind impactful advertising as the industry continues to evolve.
