Get ready for a holiday spectacular! The annual Glorious Sounds of the Season concert is back, bringing its dazzling energy to Millersville University on Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and again on Dec. 8 at 2:30 p.m. This beloved tradition, held in the Clair Performance Hall, will fill the air with festive music, but it also supports talented students through scholarship funds. Don't miss this unforgettable event!
This year's concert will feature 30 musical acts and over 350 students representing every facet of the Tell School of Music. From large ensembles to small combos, and soloists to vocal groups, there's something for everyone. The concert's unique surround sound format, with performers positioned throughout the hall, creates a truly immersive experience.
Under the curation of Dr. Jeffrey Gemmell, the concert promises to be a high-energy and uplifting celebration of the holiday season. Gemmell and his Tell School colleagues and students carefully select a diverse range of music, ensuring there's something for everyone. Audience sing-alongs, including the adored "Hallelujah Chorus," are always a highlight of the concert.
Tickets for Glorious Sounds of the Season are on sale now at the Millersville University Ticket Office. General admission tickets are $30 in advance, and MU students with ID can purchase tickets for $5. Due to the concert's popularity, it's recommended to purchase tickets early, as they often sell out.
All proceeds from the concert benefit student scholarships and program development at the Tell School of Music.
